Probiotic Hummus

Probiotic Hummus

  • 400g canned chickpeas, drained
  • 1/3 cup Rokeby Farms Probiotic Yoghurt, additional if needed
  • 1 medium garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parsley for garnish, finely chopped


  1. Place chickpeas, cayenne, cumin, garlic, lemon juice, tahini, Probiotic Yoghurt and olive oil in a food processor or blender. Blitz until it becomes a paste.
  2. Add salt and pepper and extra Probiotic Yoghurt if you want to adjust thickness. Blitz for a couple of minutes until smooth.
  3. To serve, dollop a big scoop of hummus on a plate or shallow bowl. Use a spoon to spread it and make swirls on the surface. Drizzle generously with more olive oil and garnish with finely chopped parsley.
