Fish Tacos with Yoghurt

Fish Tacos with Quark

  • 3 fillets of fresh Basa
  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 6 tortillas
  • 500g Natural Yoghurt
For the slaw:
  • ½ red cabbage, sliced thin
  • ½ medium-sized onion, diced
  • ½ cup coriander
  • Juice of 1 lime


  1. In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle the mixture over both sides of your fillets, and then rub the seasonings in.
  2. Add all of the Slaw ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once heated, add in the fish. Cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until the outside is browned.
  4. Remove the fish from the heat, and warm the tortillas in the same pan for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Break up the fish into small pieces and distribute evenly between the tortillas, and top with Slaw and Yoghurt. Sprinkle extra smoked paprika on quark. Serve.
