Have your cake and eat it too with our scrumptious Probiotic Blueberry Donuts. Deliciously healthy – they are light, soft, and the perfect sweet treat without the guilt!
Preheat the oven to 180°C and lightly spray a donut tray with cooking oil.
Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl mix the oil, Probiotic Yoghurt, eggs and vanilla extract. Then gently add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Using a spoon, scoop the mixture into the prepared donut tray, filling each mould about ⅔ full.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the donuts are golden. Let them cool in the tray for a few minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely. While cooling, make the glaze.
To make glaze, combine the blueberries, powdered sugar, vanilla extract and probiotic yoghurt in a blender or food processor. Blend together until smooth. Pour into a bowl.
Once the donuts are completely cooled, dip each donut in the glaze and let is set for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
