The milk is then taken to our Melbourne filtration facility, where it’s purified and packaged in 100% renewable cartons. If you’re looking for a lactose free milk alternative that is velvety, rich, and smooth then our ReMilk Full Cream may be the ideal choice. We’ve created a blend that is still as creamy as you’d expect from a full fat range, but we’ve ensured that it’s still a great, healthy option for everyday consumption.

Full cream milk made using 100% Australian dairy

As we’ve mentioned, we source all of our dairy from farms across Gippsland, Victoria. We choose reputable, trusted farmers, and this ensures that the milk we use for our ReMilk Full Cream is delicious in every carton that we produce.

Is there fat in full cream milk?

During our cold filtration process, our milk is nutritionally rebalanced. This means we’ve been able to refine the fat content of our products — even in our ReMilk Full Cream range. Per 100ml serving, our full cream range contains 3.4grams of fat, 2.5grams of which are saturates. The question of saturated fat consumption is often a key concern for people who want to lead a healthy diet, while still enjoying ‘full fat’ products. The saturated fat content of our full cream lactose free milk is 26% of the recommended daily intake (per 100ml, based on a total intake of 8700kj), so consumers are able to enjoy our lactose free milk alternatives as part of a healthy balanced diet.

Is light milk healthy?

Our light lactose free milk makes for a healthy addition to a balanced diet. Though there’s been a whole host of different studies into whether light options live up to their nutritional credentials, here at Rokeby Farm, we were committed to blending a lighter milk that suited even the most health-conscious consumers. One key takeaway from Dairy.com is that both lighter and full cream milk products have the same proportion of the essential nutrients and minerals.

With this in mind, it’s worth noting the key difference between our ReMilk Light and our ReMilk Full Cream, and that’s the fat content. Our light milk contains only 1.5 grams of fat per 100ml serving. This equates to 1 gram of saturated fat per 100ml serving, or 10% of the average recommended daily intake. This is over half of the fat content of our already impressively low-fat full cream products, so if you’re basing your choice on nutritional breakdown, then our light milk is ideal.

How many calories are in light milk?

In our ReMilk Light, there’s 55 calories per 100ml, and 137 calories per serving. Despite a lot of concern that low sugar milk options compensate for fat content by being excessively ‘calorific’, we’ve kept our rebalanced recipe to a minimal calorie count, without compromising on delicious taste.

Is there a lot of sugar in light milk?

While there’s ongoing research into the sugar content of lighter milk options, our lactose free low sugar products contain only naturally occurring sugars. ReMilk light and ReMilk Full Cream has 50% less sugar than traditional alternatives. We’ve created a product that has minimal sugar content, without ever compromising on taste.
